At Aberdeen College, we strive to make our website accessible to all.
Aberdeen College recommends NonVisual Desktop Access (NVDA), a free and open source screen reader for the Windows Operating System. To download the NVDA software or for more information please visit the NVDA website (http://www.nvaccess.org/nvda/). A range of other free,open source and commercial screen readers are available for different platforms and operating systems, a list of which can be found on wikipedia's list of screen readers.
Window-Eyes from GW Micro is software that helps blind users and partially sighted people to use their computer. More information about the Window-Eyes screen reader and a demo version are available at www.gwmicro.com.
