Student Placement
What is a Student Placement?
A student placement is the perfect opportunity for a learner to spend time in a real workplace situation, operating alongside employees completing a range of duties or tasks as any employee would. The emphasis is on providing students with a meaningful, practical experience that enhances learning. The student should have the opportunity to apply their learning and skills to a range of real life situations and improve their knowledge and understanding of the vocational area. Furthermore, placements provide an additional forum for preparing students for life in the workplace.
Please note that student work placements are unpaid.
