ICS Educate
What is ICS Educate?
Aberdeen College in partnership with ICS Associates Limited provide education to industry and commerce within the workplace using high quality distance learning packages which include personal tutor support. Within the last two years Aberdeen College have delivered training to over 250 clients, covering around 6,000 students throughout 90% of postal code areas in Scotland.
Aberdeen College endeavours to deliver quality education directly to your workplace by providing user-friendly teaching materials, supported by a team of tutors with work related experience. The recommended courses and study duration for most packages, is 12 weeks from induction to examination.
How does it work?
All of our training packages are delivered to clients in their own workplace and the training package consists of a detailed self-study workbook and includes a 'Knowledge Assessment' workbook and a Personal Project and Assessment Record. This provides a record of underpinning knowledge for subsequent VQ training and continuing professional development.
Accredited certification is achieved through a nationally approved awarding body, NCFE, and to obtain a certificate, students must achieve a pass in their work based project plus obtain 65% or greater in a Multiple Choice paper.
