Training for Business
If you're looking for training courses for your business or organisation, Aberdeen College has two in-house organisations structured to provide assistance with training needs for individuals or larger companies alike. ASET (Aberdeen Skills and Education Training Limited) which focuses on the onshore and offshore Oil and Gas industries and ac:KNOWLEDGE - which provides an extensive range of workplace training in a range of areas from Health and Safety to Customer Care. Please note: ASET is a wholly owned subsidiary company of Aberdeen College but it is a separate organisation with regard to the delivery of courses. Each organisation i.e. Aberdeen College and ASET delivers courses under its own auspices and with its own fee rates.
ac:KNOWLEDGE was established to facilitate workplace training for Aberdeen College and provides services to many local and national organisations in a range of market sectors. Responsive to the diverse needs of organisations, ac:KNOWLEDGE offers VQ's and Certificate courses along with a range of short courses. Working closely with a range of national organisations and awarding bodies, ac:KNOWLEDGE strives to ensure that national standards are both achieved and exceeded. At the same time the department focuses on developmental work with materials and methodologies required to enhance quality improvement.
