Length of Placements and Areas of Study
The duration of the placement will vary depending on the course level and qualification which are set by the awarding body such as SQA. Some students go out for a week at a time; others go out once a week for a period of months. The main areas of study that our placement students come from are:

- Beauty Therapy and Hairdressing
In addition, the Student Development and Access Centre provides a range of vocational SQA Access courses to students who have a range of additional support needs, and placements are always being sought for these students.
