Tailored or Flexible Solutions
Our flexibility allows us to provide your business with tailor–made services to meet your needs and help you to achieve your strategic business objectives. Our services support employers from every sector — from the smallest business, to the largest multi–national company.
On some occasions a tailored training solution is required to most effectively meet the training requirements of your organisation. We can work closely with you to identify your needs, and by looking at course content and preferred delivery modes, a bespoke training programme could then be devised to match your requirements.
Our courses are also tailored to suit individual needs through the following delivery modes:
In the classroom:
Suitable for groups of 10 or more, courses can be delivered at either a College centre, or in work premises by a trainer.
In the work–place:
Many organisations use this delivery model to meet legislative demands set in Occupational Standards, allowing for registration with vocational lead bodies such as the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). Work–based courses contribute significantly to national priorities, including those of the Scottish Funding Council with regards to Employability – Skills and training of young people.
Prior to enrolment on vocational courses, learners must be employed. These courses are supported by a designated assessor who will complete induction with the learners and arrange meetings and visits to the workplace to support candidates and to carry out assessment.
By a blend of delivery:
This way the learner has opportunities for direct contact with an appointed tutor at set points throughout the course. Between visits students work independently through course materials in order that the course can be completed within the set time frame, the opportunity to contact the students designated tutor is also available throughout the course for clarification and advice.
By distance delivery:
This delivery method is ideal where the learner is unable to attend conventional classes due to work commitments, time or distance constraints. This is a popular means to enhance knowledge in areas such as Health & Safety; Business & Quality Management; IT; and many others. Learners work through the course materials independently, within a set time, with the support of their appointed Distance Learning Tutor.
