WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?
This course is aimed at small business owners or those managing accounts for non-profit making organisations, but it will also benefit anyone wishing to work in a bookkeeping role.

COURSE AIMS
This introductory/intermediate course is designed to equip learners with a sound knowledge of bookkeeping. The course uses interactive computer software that can be laptop based.

This course covers a range of bookkeeping skills, including:
- Introduction to business
- Double Entry Bookkeeping
- Accounting Adjustments
- VAT
- Fixed Assets and Depreciation
- Sales & Purchase Ledgers
- Cash Book
- Bank Reconciliation
- Control Accounts
- Profit & Loss Accounts
- Balance Sheets
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
There are no formal entry requirements for this course however students should have a basic understanding of computers. They will also need basic problem solving and numeracy skills.
PROGRESSION ROUTES / CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Students may wish to progress to the AAT Training scheme through their employer or they may wish to take further Business related classes.
