DESCRIPTION
Are you thinking about a career in the performing arts industry? Would you like the opportunity to develop your acting skills through working with like-minded individuals on a range of activities to uncover your creative potential? Whether you're into acting, directing or devising your own scenes then NC Acting and Theatre Performance is the course for you.
You will receive high quality tuition and have the opportunity to perform in our studio theatre. In addition there are lots of opportunities to take part in collaborative projects and to perform live in the community.
Our team of staff have a breadth of current professional experience as actors, directors, adjudicators, and consultants. Most importantly all our staff are professional educators committed to helping you to reach your full potential.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
This course is suitable for people with a good range of Standard Grades at credit level/Intermediate 2 qualifications or equivalent prior experience. All applicants will be invited to an informal interview and audition
WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?
This course is suited to motivated, self-disciplined and committed people with a keen and realistic interest in developing their understanding of drama and theatre and their personal and social skills.
HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?
Assessment is achieved through written and practical assignments, classroom based assessments - open/closed book and performance.

Students can progress to HNC Acting & Performance on successful completion of this course
