DESCRIPTION
This course aims to advance students language abilities in four areas: speaking, listening, reading and writing.
This course is for learners with some knowledge of Italian who wish to build on their existing vocabulary, spoken and written Italian skills.
You have a basic understanding of Italian, but feel you can't progress much further without conversation and interaction. The Intermediate Italian course is the perfect way to brush up on your spoken and written skills and to use your existing knowledge of Italian to help you reach the next level.
Language study is not only useful in travel, but opens up a new world of literature and human understanding. This is a great way to make new friends, and experience a foreign culture without (or before) hopping on a plane.
COURSE CONTENT
Students will gain a firm grasp of the Italian language, in a safe, fun learning environment, through conversation and written work. By the end of the course, students should confidently be able to:
- Engage in conversation about a topic
- Understand Italian in both spoken and written formats
- Write in Italian (a letter)ENTRY REQUIREMENTS OR GUIDANCE REQUIRED
Student should have a firm foundational knowledge of Italian. This course is a suitable follow on from Italian - Beginners.
Students will be asked to purchase a textbook, selected by the tutor, after the first meeting of the class.
