DESCRIPTION
Teeline shorthand is easy and fun to learn. If y cn rd ths y cn lrn Tln. You will be writing words in Teeline by the end of the first lesson, and whole sentences by the end of the third class.
Teeline was invented about 25 years ago and has steadily gained in popularity over other systems because of its flexibility and comparatively simple theory. Once you have gained some experience you can adapt it to suit your own style of handwriting. It is possible to reach speeds in excess of 100 words per minute.
Shorthand is a skill valued by many employers and if you are aiming for a career in Journalism, Administrative or Secretarial work your shorthand skills will be valuable in a variety of areas.
COURSE CONTENT
This is an introductory course. You will learn the theory of Teeline, enabling you to gain a good grounding in the subject. You may take external examinations offered by OCR or opt for a College certificate.
