NC Mechanical Engineering Practice

DESCRIPTION

This is a mainly practice based programme at "Craft Level".  The course addresses solving mechanical engineering problems with practical solutions  includes workshop activities such as fitting and turning as well as numeracy, communication and IT.

COURSE CONTENT

Students will undertake studies including:

Mathematics

Workshop Skills

Turning

Milling

Graphical Communications

CAD

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS OR GUIDANCE REQUIRED

Entry Requirements: None

Guidance: Suited to a craft apprentice in the first 2 years of the apprenticeship.

SQA National Certificate
