DESCRIPTION
This ESOL Placement Test is an online test designed by Oxford University.
COURSE CONTENT
The grammar and vocabulary aspects use a multiple-choice written paper. The written is a 150 word short composition. Speaking skills are assessed using an oral test lasting 5-10 minutes. The test in total takes around one hour. Following completion, the score attained allows the student to be placed on the appropriate ESOL course according to their level of English.
CERTIFICATION
This test must be undertaken by anyone who wishes to study an ESOL course at Aberdeen College.

The test aims to measure a candidate's level of English in 4 parts: grammar, vocabulary, writing and speaking skills.
Please note, this course is not eligible for fee waiver and may not be eligible for ILA funding.
