Fees Information
Fees must be paid on booking unless you qualify for fee remission or you are an employer.
Remission of Tuition and Examination Fees

If you are eligible, please complete the Waiver 1 form which is included with the Part Time Course Application PDF file. Please submit with evidence of eligibility when you book. For state benefits, evidence must be dated within the last 4 weeks and clearly show your name and the name of the benefit you are in receipt of. If the net income for your family is less than the threshold for receiving income support, you may be entitled to remission of fees. Please ask the Admissions Office for information.
In any one term, applicants will normally be able to claim remission of fees for a maximum of 16 hours per week.
Refunds
Course fees are refundable if the course does not run or up to seven calendar days before the course commences students can obtain a full refund on written request to the Principal. After 7 days a percentage refund may be given on written request in accordance with the College policy on refunds.

Administration Fees
Students completing individual SQA Units must pay a single unit (subject) administration fee of £13.00 (Included in the On-line Course Fee)
First time Higher National entrants, undertaking an HNC or HND qualification must pay a Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) Group Award course administration fee: HNC - £103.75, HND and other Diplomas - £125.00 (Included in the On-line Course Fee)
Students completing individual SQA Units to undertake an HNC or HND qualification should contact the Information and Booking Centre to ensure they have paid the relevant SQA registration, prior to booking courses On-line.
Exams
Examination fees may be payable for certain courses later in the session.
Materials
A charge may be made for materials used by students on part-time programmes (e.g. floristry classes to create arrangements that students take away).

All courses are offered subject to there being sufficient numbers and resources. The College reserves the right NOT to run courses where numbers are insufficient.
