Costs for flexible users
IT Centre Flexible Users are required to purchase a flexible clipcard to access the PC's in the Centre.
A Flexible Use Clipcard entitles you to 5 or 10 hours computer time (depending on the size of card you buy). You should hand your clipcard in at our Reception desk each time you visit the Centre and you will be allocated a computer, subject to availability of machines. When you are ready to leave, collect your card from Reception. Your card will be punched according to how long you have spent in the Centre.
Each half hour on your clipcard is worth one hour if you use the Centre in the evenings (after 4:30pm), at weekends and student holidays.
Proof must be shown to gain concession status.
When printing you will now need to pay to print. Current charges are 3p per sheet for A4 B/W, 50p for A4 colour and £1 per sheet for A3 colour. Print credit can be purchased at IT Centre reception.
If you require assistance, do not hesitate to ask at Reception and an Instructor will endeavour to answer your queries.
Anyone over the age of 16 can make use of our Internet facilities. North East Scotland College Computer Regulations must be adhered to when using College computers. A full list of these regulations can be obtained from IT Centre Reception.
Alternatively you can download a pdf version of the IT Regulations.
