William Dyce Brasserie

The William Dyce Brasserie is Aberdeen College’s renowned training restaurant. William Dyce was a prominent artist, born in Aberdeen in 1806. This unique facility has been designed to emulate the highest standards in the food and hospitality industry and is a realistic working environment for our hospitality students to undertake their training.

The Brasserie is a spacious, comfortable restaurant, which is well furnished and offers a relaxed ambience for diners to enjoy sumptuous meals prepared to the highest standards.

Behind the scenes are well-equipped, modern kitchens where our students work to the same rigorous standards maintained in the Brasserie. The students learn to prepare and serve top cuisine and meet the demands of catering for the public.

The Brasserie is open to the public on Tuesday — Friday lunchtimes and Thursday evenings and offers excellent lunch and dinner menus at unbeatable prices. Testimonies from satisfied customers who have dined in the Brasserie.

We also run various theme nights and special events throughout the year. Previous successful theme nights include Mardis Gras, A night on the Orient Express, Greek, Far Eastern, Bond 007 and a Night on the QE2. Check the News and Events section for details of forthcoming events.
