Fees Assessment Questionnaire

Legislation set down by the Scottish Executive instructs publicly funded colleges and universities on the conditions that students have to fulfil in order to be eligible to be classed as ‘home’ students for fee purposes.

There are many different categories of ‘home fee’ payer and the regulations can be quite complicated.

Certain ‘categories’ of student can qualify for ‘home fee status’ under other conditions:

	Those temporarily employed outside the UK	complete Section 3
	European Union (EU) nationals resident in the EEA and relevant family members	complete Section 4
	EEA migrant workers and relevant family members	complete Section 5
	Children of Turkish workers in the UK	complete Section 6
	Asylum seekers	complete Section 7
	Refugees, persons of similar status and relevant family members	complete Section 8
	If your circumstances are not covered by any of the above	complete Section 9

Please complete Sections 1, 2 and 10, and any of Sections 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9 which are relevant. If your circumstances are not covered by this questionnaire please include a letter indicating why you think you are eligible for home fee status.
