Fees Assessment Questionnaire
Legislation set down by the UK government instructs publicly funded colleges and universities on the conditions that students have to fulfil in order to be eligible to be classed as ‘home’ students for fee purposes. These conditions relate to residence and immigration status. The ‘main’ conditions which need to be met are that the student:
- has been ordinarily resident in the UK and Islands for the specified three year period preceding the course applied for and
- is settled in the UK within the definition of the Immigration Act 1971 (as amended) and
- has not been resident for any part of that period mainly for the purposes of education
