Student Welfare
Student Advisers are based in the Gallowgate Centre and can assist students with:
- General advice
- Financial and funding issues
- Applications for Hardship Funds (Discretionary Fund)
- Information and advice for international students
- Matters of a more personal nature
Students meet with the Student Adviser in private and confidentiality is assured at all times.
Both one to one appointments and drop-in sessions (over lunchtime) are available every day at the Gallowgate Centre and on selected days at other Centres.
Appointments for all centres can be booked at the Learner Services Reception in the Gallowgate (01224 612284) or an enquiry can be made using the Learner Services on-line enquiry form or by emailing guidance@abcol.ac.uk.

As well as student advisers, there are also careers advisers available at college. They can help with anything from applications to university and CV's, to giving advice about future jobs and which courses are on offer in College. Appointments can be made with the following Careers Advisers at the Learner Services Reception.
