Aberdeen City and Shire Employability Conference
Wednesday, April 11, 2012
The Aberdeen City and Shire Employability Conference takes place on Tuesday 17th April 2012 from 9am to 3pm at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre and is a great opportunity for employers to find out about a range of free support services.
The aim of the conference is to ask employers views on what is needed to help them recruit, retain and upskill staff as well as allowing the opportunity to:
- Have access to a one stop shop to access these services and develop new ways of meeting recruitment needs
- Get help to achieve Community Benefit Clauses, Corporate Social Responsibility and closer working with Third Sector Organisation
- Input your requirements and ideas in developing sector based training to recruit suitable candidates
- Support Schools to prepare pupils to have the appropriate skills for working in your sector
The conference will include guest speakers informing you of current analysis of current workforce related statistics. There will also be workshops, please see attached sheet, to allow you to input into local service delivery in the local area. Actions from the day will be followed to ensure services are being delivered to meet your local employment requirements. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
