Aberdeen College opened the state of the art Learning Centre in Peterhead in September 2007. The newly refurbished Centre offers a range of community learning opportunities for adults.

About the Learning Centre
The Centre is part of a £100 million accommodation programme the College will complete over the next 5 years or so. The programme also includes the establishment of College mini-campuses in Inverurie, Ellon and Stonehaven. Preparations for a new £7 million facility for construction trades, which is to be built at the College's Altens site in Aberdeen, are nearing completion.
The new Centre at Peterhead offers local people easy and convenient access to information on education and training opportunities. It offers the College's partner organisations and the local business community much-needed, up-to-the-minute facilities in a town centre location.
The new Learning Centre offers a custom-built computer suite and communication technology together with comfortable, modern meeting facilities. Front-of-house arrangements include internet access, reception and information services.
The Centre is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am until 5pm and on Saturday morning from 9am till 12midday (see below for details on opening hours over the summer break). In addition to offering classes, local people can access eight on-line computers for independent educational use. Tutors are also available at certain times to assist you.
The public is welcome to drop in at any time for a tour of the facilities, or to learn more about learning opportunities.
The new centre was officially opened on Wednesday 12 September by Margaret Donald, Chair of the College's Board of Management.
